Pantone™ MI 20100

Pantone™ MI 20100 is a deck of 54 cards designed around Milan’s architecture and its colours. As each card uses a different building as a background, the main tonality of the photograph defines its categorisation in one of the four seeds. The value of the card is deduced from other features such as saturation and brightness. In this way, each building material corresponds to a seed (brick, glass, stone, marble) articulated in a gradient, from the aces to the kings.

The idea behind the project takes inspiration from the iconic Pantone™ color coding and palettes.
